Coach's Welcome Letter
Hello my name is Kirk Kealey and along with Mike Mathers ,we’ll be coaching U9.
I played lacrosse in Nepean from 1970-1981. I came back in 1997 to coach my boys, I’ve coach every competitive level in Nepean. I was on the executive for 8 years and was RIC for 5 years. I coached the knights junior B team from 2017-2021. Last year I coached the U9 team .
I believe in teaching the fundamentals at this age group. Most importantly improving on their passing and catching and working on ball control .
I also believe in creating a fun, competitive atmosphere.
Also, I strongly believe in the 24 hour rule if any problems arise, we can openly discuss any issues at that time.
